DELE SPANISH COURSE

PREPARATION FOR THE CERTIFICATE IN SPANISH AS SECOND LANGUAGE

Course description: This couse is for those of you who want to prepare for a proficiency exam, Passing the exam will give you an internationally recognized qualification demonstrating that you have sufficiente knowledge of Spanish. The course consists of ten units, of varied topics. Each unit emphasizes both communication skills, and writing, grammar and vocabulary.

To start this course you need to have an advanced level of Spanish. Each level lasts 60 hours, of three hours study daily.

Start date: You choose! You can start your course on whichever day and date is most convenient for you. We are open all year, including weekends and holidays.

Number of students: We recommend that your classes are one-to-one, at least during the earlier levels, so you get really personalised tuition. We find that students learn more quickly when you study at your own pace with the full attention of the teacher. However, there are other options if you prefer:

  • two students to one teacher
  • group classes (maximum of five students per class, we arrange classes like this for universities, businesses etc)

For classes of two or more students, all students must have the same level of Spanish. Bear in mind that if there is more than one student, the course will take longer to complete.

Time: The course lasts 100 hours in total (one-to-one).

Course requirements: To start this course you must have an advanced level of Spanish. We sorry that we can't take students of younger that 16.

Certificates: At the end of the course you will be ready to do a examination to get a DELE CERTIFICATION

LEVELS OF THE DIPLOMAS
Initial level: candidate demonstrates enough command of the language to understand and react appropiately to everyday situations and communicate wishes and needs in a basic way.
Intermediate: candidate demonstrates enough command of the language to defend himself in everyday situations in normal circumstances of communication that do not need specialized use of the language.
Superior level: candidate demonstrates enough command of the language needed to defend himself in situations that require a higher use of the language and a knowledge of cultural habits shown through the language.

Discussion ( Exposición ): The Generation Conflict.

Unit two: Turism

Discussion: Holidays on the coast or in the mountains.

Comprehension and written expression: Write a text, according to instructions, on your last holiday / trip.
