SURVIVAL SPANISH COURSE

Course description This course is aimed at those of you who want to learn Spanish more than a basic level... In this class you will increase your proficiency in speaking and understanding Spanish. Verb tenses beyond the present will be introduced. You will emphasize oral expressions through dialogue and activities. The course consists of three levels (beginners through to pre-intermediate) which are covered over four weeks (four hours study per day, usually 9am to 1pm). These four hours include an (optional) break to relax, recharge your batteries, have a coffee, chat with other students and/or enjoy the sun.

We recommend four hours, but you can choose to study more if you wish. You can also, in your free time, take part in the school's activities – volunteer work, trips and outing, dance classes etc.

Start date You choose! You can start your course on whichever day and date is most convenient for you. We are open all year, including weekends and holidays.

Number of students We recommend that your classes are one-to-one, at least during the earlier levels, so you get really personalised tuition. We find that students learn more quickly when they study at their own pace with the full attention of the teacher.

However, if you are coming to Ecuador with a friend and wish to study together, this can be arranged. We can also organize group classes (a miximum of five students) for universities and businesses etc. Where there is more than one student, you must all be at the same level. Bear in mind that if there is more than one student, the course will take longer to complete.

Time The course lasts 80 hours (one-to-one) in total, that's four weeks of four hours study daily. You're welcome to study for less than four weeks, but obviously you won't reach such a high level.

Course requirements No prior knowledge of Spanish is necessary!   If you have some prior knowledge we will give you a placement test. This ensures you start at the right level for you . We sorry that we can't take students of younger than 16.

Certificates At the end of the course you will receive a certificate of completion stating which level you achieved (usually intermediate). These certificates are validated by the Ministry of Education, Ecuador.
